FERWAFA appoints Mugabe Bonnie as Spokesman

The Rwanda Football Football Federation (FERWAFA) has appointed Mugabe Bonnie as the official Spokesperson of the country’s football body.

Mugabe, who has been combining the Executive Manager and Communication Managerial roles will head the refurbished communications division within the FA to reflect the growing media needs of the organisation.

He replaces Ruboneza Prosper, who serves as the Head of Commercial Department and has been holding this role since mid 2016.

Among Mugabe’s duties is making information on the FA’s activities readily available to the media and public, instantly responding to the media and handling publicity.

Crucially, Mugabe, who also acts as a CECAFA Media Officer, CAF Media Officer and General Coordinator on special assignments will give a new focus to the FERWAFA’s social media platforms and explore new media opportunities to effectively connect and communicate with the media and public.

Mugabe will also speak on behalf of the FERWAFA and create avenues for officials and players to effectively communicate with the public.
