Second Division League final set for July 4 at Amahoro Stadium

Posted on Jul 03 2018

Intare FC and AS Muhanga will battle it out for the 2017/18 Second Division League title on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Amahoro Stadium.

The game which will be played under floodlights is expected to kick-off at 18h00.

Intare defeated Pepiniere FC 2-1 in the return leg of the round of last four at Kicukiro Stadium while former Peace Cup finalists AS Muhanga landed the promotion ticket to Azam Rwanda Premier League after edging out Sorwath.

AS Muhanga returns to topflight league for a second spell after the club’s relegation in 2016.

Intare FC and AS Muhanga have been promoted to the 2018/19 Azam Rwanda Premier League, replacing Miroplast Fc and Gicumbi Fc who were relegated following a poor 2017/18 top flight league season.
