Decisions of FERWAFA Disciplinary Committee – 30 November 2018

On November 30, 2018, the Disciplinary Committee of Rwanda Football Federation held a meeting in order to decide over the case of poor misconduct exhibited during match day three of the Azam Rwanda Premier League match between Sunrise Fc and Rayon Sports Fc staged on November 1, 2018 at Nyagatare Grounds.

The following decisions were taken by the FERWAFA Disciplinary Committee regarding the parties involved:

1. Mr. Bimenyimana Caleb, Rayon Sports Fc forward and Dushimimana Claude, the Kit Manager of Rayon Sports FC were found guilty of intentionally inflicting bodily injuries (Lesions Corporelles) to a Sunrise Fc supporter who invaded the field of play during the above mentioned match day on November 1, 2018

2. Mr. Bimenyimana Caleb, Rayon Sports FC forward is slapped a four-match suspension and a fine of Rwf. 30,000.

3. Mr. Dushimimana Claude, the Kit Manager of Rayon Sports FC is handed a one-year suspension from all football activities and a fine of Rwf. 50,000

4. Sunrise FC will host their next Azam Rwanda Premier League Match Day behind closed doors.

The above decisions have been communicated to concerned clubs and they take immediate effect.
