FIFA DTMS Workshop gets underway in Kigali on Wednesday

Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) is launching a two-day FIFA Domestic Transfer Matching System (DTMS) workshop, which is starting on Wednesday at Hill Top Hotel in Kigali City.

In collaboration with FIFA TMS & DTMS department, the workshop has attracted 28 FERWAFA member-associations from first and second division clubs.

This training will enable the clubs to proceed player’s transfers online between local clubs hence raising the level of transparency in transfers’ procedures.

The DTMS is a reduced version of the globally used International Transfer Matching System (ITMS), which helps clubs easily manage international and local transfers of both male and female players, as well as generating transfer activity reports from several quarters.

The system is useful is enhancing transparency in the football business as well as ensuring that all deals are tracked from start to finish.

The system will be effected in the July 2020 transfer window ahead of the 2020-2021 season kickoff.
