Gorilla FC and Rutsiro FC promoted to RPL.

Rutsiro FC and Gorilla FC have been promoted to Rwanda Premier League after reaching the final of the second division league playoffs.

Rutsiro FC got promoted to Rwanda’s top tier after beating Vision FC 7-6 on penalties in the first semi-final after playing a goalless draw.

The game was followed by a mouthwatering encounter between Etoile de l’Est FC and Gorilla FC. The game also ended goalless with Gorilla FC snatching the spot in Rwanda Premier League following Gorilla FC goalie Steven Ntalibi’s penalty shootout heroics.

Both teams will knock horns in the final showdown slated for Saturday, November 21, at Kigali Stadium, the game will be preceded by the battle for third spot between Vision FC and Etoile de l’Est.

Gorilla FC and Rutsiro FC replace Gicumbi FC and Heroes FC who got relegate from Rwanda Premier League.
