Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) wishes to announce that in collaboration with Confederation of African Football (CAF) a CAF instructors’ course will be delivered from June 21st to 30th, 2021. The course will be given by a CAF elite instructor Mr. Izak Stephanus Coetsee.

We call upon all interested coaches who fulfill the following criteria to register for participation.

Interested coaches must:

  1. Hold a C, B or A CAF coaching license
  2. Have coached a first or second league men or women team at least for a period of 3 years
  3. Be fluent in either English or French
  4. Hold a Bachelors Degree. Graduates in Education are encouraged to apply.

Being a former player on the elite level (first league) will add value to one’s application.

Instructors prior to CAF courses revision who are interested to participate in this course will be enrolled with no consideration of the listed criteria.

In a bid to realize FERWAFA’s objective to increase the level and number of qualified women coaches, women coaches who will submit their applications before the course is full will be exempted from paying the required course fees.

Interested and eligible coaches must submit by email their complete application files at development@ferwafa.rw not later than Thursday June 17th, 2021 at 3:00 PM.

Application file comprise:

  • An application letter addressed to the General Secretary written in English or French
  • A copy of the applicant’s ID/Passport
  • A copy of the applicant’s CAF Coaching License
  • A copy of the applicant’s Bachelors Degree
  • An updated Curriculum Vitae
  • Orginal bank deposit slip of 100,000 RWF course fees paid into FERWAFA account in Bank of Kigali: 00040-00287091-04.
