AMAVUBI U18 READY TO FIGHT FOR THE FLAG IN CECAFA U18 CHALLENGE CUP

This Wednesday the 22nd of November, the National Team U 18 flied to Kenya in Kisumu city to fight for the honor of the flag through CECAFA U18 challenge cup to be played in the said city, and the Team has arrived with the total number of 22 players and 13 staff members plus a head of delegation who is the Commissioner in charge of Competitions at the Federation Mr. Amani Turatsinze.

After the arrival, the head coach Mr. Kayiranga said that despite the long journey, they are all in good conditions and ready to defend Rwanda and he believes that all teams are almost on the same level and the preparations will decide the results, because preps also matter in hunting the victory.

I hope we will come out ready for victory. All teams are almost on the same level, only preparations may make the difference because the competition calendar has not been stable, so, it always important to coop up with the trend and adapt to the situation.

Rwanda is in the Group A with Kenya, Sudan and Somalia and the first match on the side of Rwanda will be player on 25th of November 2023 against Somalia, 28th November against the host Kenya and 0n 01st December against Sudan.
