THE SHE-AMAVUBI READY TO FIGHT FOR WAFCON THROUGH THE BLACK QUEENS

The Rwanda women National team squad is undergoing serious preps for the WAFCON qualifications, where the she-Amavubi are set to fight for the next round through the Black Queens of Ghana in the two matches scheduled for 20th September at home in Kigali and 26th September in Ghana as the second leg game.

The called squad was summoned to start the camp last Sunday the 10th September and the ladies have since then started trainings, where as part of the preps they will have two friendly matches against les Hirondelles (Swallows) from Burundi. The first match will be played this Friday the 15th September 2023 in Bugesera from 03pm and the next on Saturday 16th September from Kigali Pele stadium from 07pm.

The head coach Grâce Nyinawumuntu says the team is ready and thrilled to raise the flag of Rwanda on international level, also saying that the preparations have been so smooth and the camp is being conducted in cordial and friendly mood, also pledges to give their all for the honor of the flag.

Rwanda is expected to fly to Ghana after the first leg match in Kigali on 22nd September before the second leg to be played on 26th September in Accra.
