FERWAFA, in partnership with RAFA, officially concluded a four-day Amputee Football Coaching Course on Thursday, May 11, 2026, with Richard Mugisha, FERWAFA Second Vice President in charge of Development and Technical Matters, presiding over the closing ceremony.
The course brought together 24 aspiring coaches from across the country and focused on developing the technical and practical skills needed to advance amputee football in Rwanda.
Addressing the participants, Mugisha praised their commitment and highlighted the importance of building a strong technical foundation for inclusive football development.
“Football is for everyone. By investing in coach education, we are creating opportunities for growth and ensuring that amputee football continues to develop and thrive across Rwanda,” he said.
The successful completion of the training marks another milestone in the joint efforts of FERWAFA and RAFA to promote inclusion and strengthen the development of amputee football nationwide.
