FERWAFA INDEPENDENT COMMISSIONS ELECTED 

This Saturday, 13th January 2024, during FERWAFA Extra Ordinary General Assembly that held at serena Hotel, on the agenda was only three points, namely, approval of the commissioner in charge of refereeing, approval of the Annual Budget and Election of the independent commissions.

In his welcoming remarks, The President of FERWAFA welcomed and thanked the participants in attendance including the delegates of FIFA, Olympic Committee, and the Ministry of Sports.

The president also addressed the various projects the Federation has undertook, among them are the following 

    • Bayern Munich Academy 

    • The inception and operation of Rwanda Premier League,

    • Paris Saint Germain Academy.

    • CAF B training coaches in all provinces of Rwanda.

    • Participation in the African Schools Championship of U-18

Among other resolutions, The General Assembly approved the annual budget as presented and approved Mr. Hakizimana Louis as the Refereeing Commissioner.

Also, the General Assembly elected the members of the independent commissions as Follow;

Audit Committee: Mrs Niwemugeni Marie Chantal

Electoral Commission: Mr. Rugera Jean Claude

Conflict Resolution Committee: Mr. Munyankumburwa Jean Marie

 Disciplinary Committee: Mr. Mabano Jules

Club Licensing Committee: Mr. Rukundo Eugene

Ethics Committee: Mr. Dukuzimana Antoine

Status Committee: Mr. Bizimungu Clement

The General Assembly is the highest-level meeting of the Federation where members decide the management routes of their own Association.
