FERWAFA, through its Club Licensing Department, today conducted a one-day Club Licensing Workshop for clubs preparing to register for the upcoming Men’s Third Division (D3) season.

Held at the FERWAFA headquarters, the workshop brought together representatives of aspiring D3 clubs to strengthen their understanding of the Club Licensing system and the requirements for participation in the new season.

Facilitated by the FERWAFA Club Licensing Department, the session focused on the key licensing criteria, including sporting, administrative, legal, financial, and infrastructure requirements. Club representatives were also guided through the registration process and given an opportunity to seek clarification on the licensing procedures.

The workshop forms part of FERWAFA’s continued efforts to promote professionalism, good governance, and improved standards across all levels of Rwandan football, ensuring clubs are well prepared to meet the minimum requirements before the start of the 2026/27 season.
