23 Rwandan Coaches Earn CAF A Coaching Licences

Twenty-three Rwandan coaches have earned their CAF A Coaching Licences after completing a six-month training programme jointly organised by CAF and FERWAFA.

The achievement marks a historic milestone for Rwandan football, with four women coaches among those who earned the prestigious qualification.

The programme began on 11 March 2026 and brought the coaches together for intensive theoretical and practical training.

It aimed to strengthen their technical knowledge, tactical understanding, and application of modern coaching methods.

The CAF A Coaching Course returned to Rwanda nine years after the previous edition, which was held in March 2017. Its successful completion represents an important step towards developing local coaching expertise and strengthening the technical capacity of Rwandan football.
