Dr. Nelson Mbarushimana, the REB Director General REB, in his speech he said,“Today Rubavu taught us what classrooms cannot alone: that character is forged on pitches as much as in pages. We celebrate schools that prioritize sport because when a child plays well and learns well, the nation wins. We thank the Government for giving our children this stage to flourish.”

He added; “Sport is a language of the whole child. By placing it alongside education we give our students balance: health, discipline, joy and the confidence to learn.”

In his speech, the Vice-President, Football for Schools Federation also said “This partnership with FERWAFA is not merely about trophies. It is an investment in futures. We recognize talent here, we nurture it, and we pledge to walk alongside these young stars as they rise for Rwanda.”
