CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL COACHING COURSE (ICC), SPRING 2026

Through the Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee (RNOSC), FERWAFA hereby invites all qualified and eligible Football coaches to express their interest in participating in the International Coaching Course (ICC), scheduled to take place from 8 April to 28 May 2026 in Budapest, Hungary.

This prestigious program is organized by the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) in cooperation with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), with the support of Olympic Solidarity. Since its inception in 1971, the ICC has trained over 2,500 coaches worldwide, making it one of the most respected coach education programs globally.

The 8-week, in-person course offers a comprehensive curriculum combining approximately 120 hours of theoretical instruction and 100 hours of practical training, delivered by international experts in a high-performance environment. Participants will benefit from access to world-class sports facilities, international networking opportunities, and a recognized coaching certification upon successful completion.

For the Spring 2026 intake, the available sport disciplines are: Basketball, Football, General Conditioning, Handball, Tennis, Water Polo and Wrestling.

Please note that places are limited and subject to minimum enrolment per discipline; therefore, early application is strongly encouraged.

With the support of Olympic Solidarity, eligible coaches may receive full financial assistance, subject to nomination by RNOSC.

Interested coaches are required to:

1. Submit their online application through the official link: https://international.tf.hu/international-coaching-course/

2. Formally request endorsement from RNOSC through FERWAFA

All coaches who apply are required to ensure that their complete admission files are submitted to RNOSC no later than 15 January 2026, to allow sufficient time for evaluation and nomination through the Olympic Solidarity RELAY system.

Kindly note that Olympic Solidarity will fully support one female and one male coach per National Olympic Committee. In this regard, RNOSC will recommend to Olympic Solidarity the two best candidates (one female and one male) among those who obtain an official admission letter from HUSS.

FERWAFA encourages all qualified coaches to seize this valuable professional development opportunity by submitting their intent and application via the mentioned link within the stipulated timelines.
