Peace Cup 2026: Preliminary Round Draw Sets the Stage for Thrilling Showdowns

This morning, the Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) conducted the draw for the preliminary rounds of the 2025-2026 Peace Cup. This year’s tournament will feature a total of 30 teams, including 16 from the First Division, 12 from the Second Division, and 2 from the Third Division.

In accordance with the competition rules, eight teams will not participate in the preliminary rounds. The draw paired 22 teams for the preliminary matches. Winners from these fixtures will advance to the next stage of the tournament. From the 11 teams that progress, eight will be selected to face the eight exempted teams, with selection based on aggregate scores (points and goals from home-and-away matches).
